National Dance Week is coming April 25 – May 4. This annual observance is designed to heighten the awareness of Dance, its health benefits, and its contributions to our culture. For more information visit www.nationaldanceweek.org. To help celebrate, we are offering 10 different days of savings!

While you are visiting, if you have any new or gently used dance items that you no longer need, we will be once again organizing a donation of these items. Simply drop them in the collection boxes we’ll have in our store, and we will then have them delivered to two organizations that we regularly support:

• Maryland Youth Ballet – MYB’s outreach programs introduce and provide ballet opportunities for students who are generally underrepresented in the dance world. They provide a number of wonderful initiatives that benefit our community, including “Music and Motion” classes for dancers with physical disabilities, a JumpStart program for underprivileged children, and others. • Traveling Tutus – Traveling Tutus is a Florida-based non-profit organization that donates used dance items to orphanages in need all over the world.
